It was a great pleasure for us to host this multi-cultural event at beautiful Shakori Hills.

Over 2,000 guests enjoyed a day of live music, dance, delicious food and visited the many non-profit and business booths. Performers included Galumpha, who thrilled the crowds again; fabulous Bravo Norteño, local legends Saludos Compay, The Firehouse Rhythm Kings, the colorful Guadalupano Folk Ballet and our dear friend Cesar Merlos as a great MC.

The celebration continued in the Movement Tent with music and classes in acrobatics, hula-hooping and dance. Our Kid’s World was packed with activities from portrait drawing and facepainting to storytelling and pony rides, to name but a few.

Our VIP speakers included Margie Ellison and Esther Coleman from the Human Relations Commission, Siler City Police Chief Gary Tyson, Mayor Pro Tem John Grimes and Chatham Arts Director Molly Matlock
